Indie Rock Band hundred Days have A Party, Film it, And Release it As The The Music Video for ‘Girl At A Party’
San Francisco indie rock band, hundred Days, has just released the music video to the track Girl at a Party. this great sounding song has a resounding beat with a really likeable catchy tune. The lyrics fit in brilliantly. Music critics have applauded the band with their great songwriting skills. BBC music have said, “You can’t beat good song writing and this IS good song writing.” The track “Girl at a Party” is the second single to be released from the hundred Days debut album really.
The music video begins with the guys of the band standing around a table of snack food, just having a bit of an innocent chat. Very cleverly, the song title and band name are displayed in a Scrabble game. Unexpectedly, the front door opens to show a gorgeous young lady standing there with the light dazzling behind her – almost like the grand entrance of a rock star. She enters the room, and like a celebrity, she walks around the place in this “almost stop motion” video. The band guitarist quickly steps in, hoping to steal the scene, but the camera is only interested in one thing … der, the lovely young lady. this “walk around the place” is more like fun-filled raucous romp as the camera shows the happenings occurring as the stunning lady guides us around. there are some scenes where the band performs. And with such a terrific song, it is great to hear and see the guys perform in the clip. With some music videos, the music is outweighed by the movie, but this song is enhanced by the clip.
it is a happy video. The song is catchy. The hundred Days have hit all the right buttons with this song and clip. Sometimes “the planets just line up perfectly” and this is one song that hits the nail on the head. it is not possible to listen to this catchy song just once.
